Paramount Home Entertainment have announced the Region 1 DVD release of Californication Season 1 on 17th June 2008. David Duchovny stars in this new comedy series as Bachelor Hank Moody, a sexy, best-selling author whose insatiable appetite for beautiful women often lands him in hot water.

Features are TBC though we expect extras to be the same as those found on the R2 which is out the same week. These include a podcast and commentary on two episodes.

Congratulations to David on his Golden Globe win for Californication!!!!

Since the show was not broadcast due to the Writer’s Strike, you can re-visit his last Golden Globe win in 1997 for his role as Agent Mulder in The X-Files: Video Clip and Photos.
