David and Téa Seperate
David Duchovny, who recently left rehab for sex addiction, and wife Téa Leoni released a statement Wednesday saying they have been separated for some time.
“In light of continuous speculation over the lives and marriage of Tea Leoni and David Duchovny, the couple has confirmed that they have in fact been separated for several months,” the statement says. “The couple had hoped to keep this separation private for the sake of their children.”
Duchovny, 48, has been married to actress Leoni since 1997. They have two children, daughter Madelaine West, 9, and son Kyd, 6.
The actor voluntarily entered rehab last summer “for the treatment of sex addiction,” he said in a statement issued in August.
Earlier this month, Duchnovny had “successfully completed the rehab program,” his lawyer said. Duchovny was then spotted with Leoni at the Czech Street Festival in Manhattan.
The separation statement was released by reps Annett Wolf and Evelyn Karamanos.

I am not shocked by this news, cause I think I knew deep down that this may come out to be the case, but it is still really heartbreaking to hear. My heart really breaks for the children, as my daughter is the same age as Davids, and my son is only 2 years older than his, so just imagining what the kids may be going through, Divorce is so hard on kids at any age it is never easy.
I think David and Tea, are the type of Parents though, that if a Divorce does happen, and there happens to be bitterness between them, I do see David and Tea hiding that bitterness from the children. I do not see them being what Christy Brinkley and her husband did to their children. I honestly see David and Tea doing the best thing, and acting civil in front of their children.
My thoughts and prayers are still with the family, and I wish nothing but the best for both of them, especially the children.
On a positive note, I am excitied about David’s upcoming film the Jones’s I heard that he is already here in Atlanta, to start filming.

I`m very sorry for his family, too, but I`m also very sorry for David. He looks very sad and worn down on the latest pictures. I guess, as a great thinker and sensitive person this all is not really easy on him, either. Whatever it is in particular that caused the seperation (which is none of our business), I believe he cares very much about it. You can tell by the pictures and the things he used to say in interviews how much he loves Tea and his kids and he`s probably done his best to keep his family together inspite of the problems he has or they may have, too.
Yeah, I`m really sorry for all of them – in such a situation there are only victims, no offenders.
In my mind I send them and all those people who are in a similar situation all my love and strength. May they find their way to warmth, depth, forgiving and understanding and to work with the hurdles of our human existence more constructively than it is the case in our modern society – without turning the abilities we have as humans into weapons we hurt each other with. This is not an easy problem which every one of us faces in one way or another every day…

I JUST found this site! And this is the first I heard about David and Tea’s separation. This breaks my heart.
